The aim of this project is to present aquaponics, a system which has real advantages for urban culture as well as the conservation of farmed fish in restaurants or at home.
The concept of "PARISIAN GARDEN" is to optimise the lake of space in cities : with this system you can produce up to 400kg of vegetables and 400 fish for 15m2.
The concept is quite simple : the fishes create the fertilizer for the plant and the plant cleans the water for the fish.
I thought of different sizes for different places : the product could be on a table, in a kitchen or in a restaurant. I wanted the system to be fully autonomous : it uses solar panel power for the pump so you don't need to plug it. It also significantly reduce the time consumers have to spend on it : half an hour every week for the big one is enough.
The shape follows perfectly the needs. there is a side deeper for big plants, and the bottom of the plant section is inclined to allow the water which comes out of the pump to flow with gravity (reduce also the power needed). The other side is used to reach fish (to feed them and take them when they are the good size).
